Stewardship
Christian stewardship is the grateful and responsible use of God's gifts in the light of God's purpose as revealed in Jesus Christ. Christian stewards, empowered by the Holy Spirit, commit themselves to conscious, purposeful decisions.
Stewardship is lived out in:
-
Living and telling the Good News. Wisely employing God-given human resources, abilities, and relationships.
-
Sharing the material resources we hold and giving them in service, justice, and compassion.
-
Providing for future generations, sharing in the life, worship, and responsible stewardship of the Church and of its mission.
-
Both the individual and the community.

The single most important thing to do when filling out a pledge card is to begin with prayer. Ask God what He would like you to do and for the strength to respond "yes Lord." As you pray - consider one or more of the following verses from Scripture.
Psalm 16: 6 “A Delightful Inheritance”
Luke 16: 10-12 “Trustworthy”
Romans 12: 1-8 “Living Sacrifices”
2nd. Corinthians 8: 1-7 “Generosity Encouraged”
1st. Peter 4: 8-10 “Use Whatever Gifts….”
