Abundant Living Conference at Camp Allen:  Live More, Age Less

MONDAY, FEB 27th - WEDNESDAY, FEB 29th:  This conference is co-sponsored by the UTMB Center for Spirituality of Aging, Sealy Center on Aging, with the purpose of encouraging older adults to embrace aging as a spiritual journey, to be engaged, active and live the gift of years to the fullest. The conference features a dynamic roster of speakers, panels and activities. Brochures with more information and registration forms are available in the Parish Hall Outreach Center or you may register online.  Abundant Living conferences are highly recommended by our Deacon-in-Training, Portia Sweet, who has attended past conferences. She will be happy to tell you more about the event.

Lillies, Orchids, and Roses

HONOR A LOVED ONE:  Did you know that you can honor a family member, birthday or other occasion by signing up to donate altar flowers? For a $60 donation (or more if you choose) you can help beautify the altar with flowers from Simply Beautiful. There is plenty of room to sign up on the Flower Chart found on the round table in the Narthex. Please consider such a donation! For more information contact Nell Givens at jn3941@sbcglobal.net.

NOOMA Group Has Resumed

FRIDAY MORNINGS, AFTER DROP OFF:  Do you long for a breath of fresh air?  Do you need a good laugh? Would you like someone to clean your house for you? Well if you answered yes to either of the first two questions (Sorry we really can’t help with the third one… but we’ll pray for you!) Join us as we explore God’s Word, with a little help from some friends, every Friday morning at 8:16 AM in the Youth Room (You’ll have to enter through the school office, sign in & wear a red badge – but we assure you it’s well worth it!). We’ll utilize video, books & other media to draw in deep breaths of God’s goodness so that we can be salt and light in this world. You don’t need to know anything about the bible to come to this study – All we ask is that your bring your bible & your sense of humor… we’ll count on God to show us the way! For more information, contact KariAnn Lessner at dcfm@hsechurch.org.
