About Us

Holy Spirit Episcopal Church is a community with Christ as the cornerstone.

We reflect the Holy Spirit to the world through:

Acceptance – We acknowledge God’s call to accept our differences as we join together on our spiritual journeys.

Connections – We become the Body of Christ through a broad footprint of ministries that foster deep relationships, caring for one another, fun and fellowship.

I Am Holy Spirit - video

Teaching – We develop disciples through thought-provoking worship, our parish school and a variety of educational opportunities.

Service – We follow Christ’s example of sacrificial love by serving people in need wherever they may be.

Worship Services

Holy Spirit offers three different Sunday morning services: Traditional Rite I, Traditional Rite II, and Contemporary Rite II.

8:00 AM Rite I Traditional Service consists of the language of Elizabethan English. The liturgies are very similar to the services that have been used since the first Prayerbook of 1549. The service consists of formal worship and includes organ music and hymns (with no choir). This service is approximately sixty minutes long.

10:30 AM Rite II Traditional Service uses more contemporary, everyday English. The service consists of formal worship including organ music, hymns and a full choir. Service bulletins follow the Book of Common Prayer and are used along with the hymnal. This service is approximately seventy-five minutes long.

10:30 AM Rite II Contemporary Service is complete with a sermon, the Holy Eucharist and music by a full worship band. The service is projected onto large screens. It is a less formal, come-as-you-are atmosphere and approximately seventy-five minutes long.

There is a fully staffed nursery during all services.

During both 10:30 AM services, Children's Chapel is offered for those who are in preschool through 5th grade (click here for more information).
